- Department of Technology and Production Management
This department has 4 scientific staffs. Laboratories of detection of ornamental plants Pest and diseases and Water and soil laboratory are mail laboratories of this department. There are serological and molecular detection facilities in plant diseases laboratory. Three research greenhouses are assigned for research projects in this department.

- Study of suitable methods of cultivating and pruning cultivars of flowers and ornamental plants.
- Study of water needs, nutrition and optimization of culture media in greenhouse and outdoor production.
- Study of the reaction of cultivars of flowers and ornamental plants to different methods of controlling plant pests and diseases.
- Use of new technologies in outdoor and greenhouses productions.
- Study and development of new methods of propagation of cultivars of flowers and ornamental plants.
- Production of healthy primary nuclei of cultivars of flowers and ornamental plants.

- Evaluating the response of cultivars and commercial lines to modern methods of controlling pests and diseases of flowers and ornamental plants.
- Research on the development of cultivation of flowers and ornamental plants in different systems based on the comparative advantages of production.
